Sunflower Class – Term 5 News & Review of Term 4

posted in: EYFS News | 0

Welcome to Term 5 in Sunflowers! 🙂

We hope you have had a fantastic Easter break, managing to make the most of Spring! 🙂

After our move from one classroom to another during the holiday, Sunflowers are now in what was the old Bluebells room,

therefore the children will now be picked up from the main Early Years entrance at the end of each day.

This term will be focused on learning about what our school value of ‘Perseverance’ means to us,

as well as having lots of fab-fun learning related to our new core story ‘The Little Red Hen’!

Parents/Carers please remember to always keep your eyes peeled for school newsletters,

letters and parent mails for further dates and information…

* Please also remember to check Tapestry regularly to see photos and observations of what bus bees your children are

– it’s a fab way to stay in touch with what they are learning at school! 🙂 *

Review of Term 4 in Sunflowers…

We had another action-packed term focused on our school value of ‘Honesty’,

as well as a thrilling visit from Wheatley Birds of Prey, and hatching chicks, to link in with our core story Owl Babies!

Children and adults alike seemed to thoroughly enjoy dressing up as characters from their favourite stories to celebrate

World Book Day on Thursday 7th March – please see the photos below…

It was also great to see lots of parents and carers attend the school-wide P4C Stay & Learn

on Monday 18th March 9-10am – see the flyer below…
