FOSNS (Friends of St Nicholas’ Primary School) supports our school with fundraising and community-building activities. All parents/carers of pupils at St Nick’s and staff are automatically members of FOSNS and everyone is encouraged to join in and help contribute towards the wellbeing of children at the school.

A FOSNS Committee is elected every year and holds meetings on a regular basis with everyone welcome to attend. FOSNS meetings and events are advertised via Parentmail.

Upcoming Events & Activities

BINGO evening

We are very excited to announce that our FOSNS fundraising BINGO evening (for parents/carers, staff and friends) has been booked for Fri 10 Nov. We are going to use the same format as our recent successful quiz evening – 7.30-9.30pm in the school hall, with tables of up to 8 people. No previous BINGO experience necessary! £10 per person. Further information and the booking form here. 

Winter Bazaar

Our festive Winter Bazaar is Fri 1 Dec, 3-4.30pm in the school playground. We are desperate for helpers for this one so please do sign up here if you can help out!

Panto outing

Many thanks to all those who have purchased tickets for the FOSNS family pantomine outing on Thurs 7 Dec. There are still a few tickets remaining if other families would like to join us. Further information and the booking form here. Tickets will be available until we sell out.

Armchair Fundraising!

Raise money throughout the year from the comfort of your own home with the following fundraising initiatives:

  • St Nick’s School Lottery. We started an online lottery in June 2021 to raise funds for the outside areas of the school. For every £1 you play, 40p will come straight to our school whilst you have the chance of winning our weekly St Nick’s cash prize and even the national jackpot of £25,000! Players must be 16 or over and UK residents. Please gamble responsibly
