Music Enrichment Day

On Friday 11th November, 6 children from our Year 5 and 6 classes joined children from other local schools for an orchestral strings day at St. Edward’s School, Oxford. It was run by Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra and members of St. Edward’s School. During the day the children learned to play 4 pieces of music and then parents joined us for a concert at the end of the day in which the children performed these pieces. It was a wonderful experience for the children to play in such an amazing venue – the new Olivier Hall at St. Edward’s school and to play with some professional musicians.
