International Evening, Thursday 18th November

Thank you everyone who has signed up to either come to International Evening or bring food! We are so grateful and look forward to welcoming you!
Please do come along too if you haven’t signed up. All are welcome.
During the school day on Thursday, children are encouraged to wear traditional costumes from their culture to school. This can be any kind of traditional dress from around the world or here in England, and could also be Cubs, Scouts, Brownie or Beaver uniforms. We will be sharing languages in our classrooms to celebrate the day.
In the evening, our new look International Evening will take place! The school will be open from 5.30 to 7pm. Groups of up to 8 people (adults and children) will move between classrooms to sample activities, music and food from different continents. Please do wear traditional dress in the evening too!

We will not be providing drinks, so we recommend bringing water bottles.

If you have signed up to bring food, thank you so much! Please could you drop this off, with clear labels, at school at registration or pick up on Thursday. Or, if your dish needs refrigerating, please bring it just before the start of International Evening. Please include dietary information on the label, and make sure any containers have the name of your child and class on them. You are reminded the school is nut free. Thank you again for your generous gifts of food.
