We provide a rich selection of extra-curricular activities, including school visits and residential trips.

School Trips

School trips help to enrich children’s learning and broaden their horizons. Trips are usually linked to curriculum projects, assembly themes, or the children’s personal, social and health education. Children in Years 4 and 6 go on residential trips. In addition to the residential trips, there are many day trips and short local trips for all the school, e.g. to local museums, the theatre and cinema, farms, and local villages.

All of these trips are designed to support the project work in the classrooms. Throughout the year the school welcomes visitors from many different sectors of the community, including the local church, artists, storytellers, authors, poets, firemen and policemen.

Breakfast Club

We have a thriving Breakfast Club which provides care for children before the school day begins.

The club has charitable status and is managed by the Governing Body which is responsible for making all policy and procedural arrangements. Parents are required to book and pay in advance for this provision.

Breakfast Club runs daily from 8am until the start of the school day for your child.  The children are offered a breakfast of cereal bar, fruit and a yoghurt,  unfortunately we cannot provide drinks, please send your child in with their own water bottle clearly labelled with their name.  After this they are able to enjoy quiet play activities and games.
