Beech Class – Review of Autumn Term 2018

posted in: Year One News | 0

We have had so much this term exploring our bodies as part of our ‘Who am I?’ topic this term. We had used different resources to measure and draw around ourselves. We used what we found out to work out who is the tallest and shortest in the class. We also looked at the bones on a skeleton and tried to recreate it with dog biscuits!

Some of us have had the opportunity to explore outdoors at our Forest School location. We enjoy playing in the Autumn leaves that have fallen and making leaf kebabs!

We have had fun in Beech class exploring the maths area in the afternoons and becoming Miss Goulding! We enjoy playing with the clocks and points to the numbers on the huge number square. We also like exploring the calendar with the days of the week, dates, months of the year, the season and the weather!
